It’s way more than building robots. FIRST Tech Challenge teams  design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a 2v2 challenge in an alliance format. Teams also design and market their team brand, and do community outreach for which they can win awards.

Guided by experienced student mentors and adult coaches, participants develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles (like keeping an engineering notebook), while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and sharing ideas.

FTC build sessions start in late September and are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 PM.
